DOJANG RULES
- No shoes allowed in the dojang
- Students must bow to the instructors before entering and leaving the dojang
- Students must answer instructors and blackbelts with yes or no sir/ma’am
- Students must meditate or stretch before class
- Use polite language at all times
- Students must respect and listen to parents/guardians at all times
- Students must bring report cards every marking period
- Less talk, more training
- Students should bring a water bottle to class to maintain hydration
SPARRING RULES
- White belts cannot spar
- All color belts must have appropriate fighting gear that includes head gear, mouthpiece, chest protector, foot and hand pads. (Also cup for male students).
- Free fight teaches self-control, practices good techniques, develops confidence and respect. It also teaches you how not to lose your temper against your opponent.
